Thank you for your solidarity and support for Mary Jane Veloso, a Filipina who has been a victim of human trafficking and has remained on death row in Indonesia for thirteen years. The Free Mary Jane Veloso campaign is currently organizing activities in Indonesia this month to amplify the urgent call for clemency and freedom for Mary Jane.
It has been almost five years since Mary Jane’s family had the opportunity to visit her in prison. During the pandemic, it was difficult for Mary Jane to receive any visitors, and the only opportunity Mary Jane’s family had to communicate with Mary Jane was a short weekly call.
